I finally purchased my wedding this dress this past weekend and now I need your help deciding on which veil will complement my gown the best. I am in love with the thought of wearing a cathedral veil but friends have told me that maybe a fingertip veil will look best. Below is a picture of my dress. It is satin with organza semi-cathedral train. Please help.

ooh that dress is totally unique and i love it! I think I agree with your friends and a catherdral may not work, but the only way to know for sure is to try on a bunch of different options with your dress.

Yes, try on a few with the dress on to really know which you prefer! I think maybe one with a nice edge trim similar to the edge of your dress would match really well.

that dress is very unique and I LOVES it!!!! I think the fingertip veil would work best because you want to be able to showcase that back of that drass as much as possible, especially since most people will get to check out the train when you’re walking down the aisle. Who designed that dress?

The dress is Eden Bridals. I first came across it in a magazine advertisement and instantly fell in love with it.
Thanks for the comments and your suggestions. I already tried it on with a cathedral veil with the edge trim like jisikah suggested and I loved it but at the same time I don’t want to take away from the back of the dress either.

I think jisikah’s suggestion is EXCELLENT. You don’t want a veil that is so simple that it looks blah on a dress like yours.

how about this one? it stops about where the beautiful layers on your dress start.

@jisikah: I like your suggestion.
BTW, your dress is beautiful!
