I wouldn't do solid black because they always remind me of work shoes that restaurants make their employees wear. I think having the slightly different shoes would be fine.
I'm all about what happens to the shoes after the wedding ... because of that, I can't really see the guys wearing shoes with teal on them. I vote black with teal laces.
I like #1 and #2. If you are gifting them its even nicer. The black ones have no flair. Since your flats are aqua the first two would look fab.
I love your option #1.

We are doing white lacoste sneakers for all the guys.
@jo.lee: Haha, that's all i vision now!! Maybe i'de to black with a BIT of white on them? I'm leaning to option 1 though!
Have you thought about custom designing the sneakers through NikeID.com? We're doing this for our guys as their BP gift. We haven't decided which design to go with yet but this will atleast give you an idea of what can be done...
You can design custom Chucks too - that's what we did. They have tons of options. Our colors were based around grey and yellow so we made these:
That's just a thought if you want them all the same. Personally I think option one is effing rad. :-)
Hey girls, i'm still having a tough time with this - i'm leaning to option 1, but i'm worried that because the top of the groomsmen pair is teal, it will look like too much. opinions???

My fiancé and I are VERY casual people (Especially him). The other day we we're watching wedding videos and noticed a lot of people wearing chucks instead of dress shoes. So he has decided he wants to wear Nike Air Max shoes (as well as all the groomsmen - it will be our gift to them)...
I can't choose what pair to go for though. The style we like the most is from 2009, and we can only find it in my fiancés size...so my options are -
#1
Order this pair for my fiancé
and then this pair for the guys -
OR
#2 - Same pair for my fiance as number 1, and then the groomsmen in solid black with teal laces?
OR Lastly, option #3 would be everyone in Solid black with teal laces. What do you think??
