Hello there all!
I am deciding on some shoes here. I needed something short as I am tall and want to be shorter than my fiance on the day. My dress is Fatima by enzoani, so lace and tulle. Here’s the dress, however I won’t be wearing that belt as I will be adding some scattered beading to the gown.
I’m going for a really classic look, so I’d like the shoes to emulate that as well. Also, I hate heels and want something comfortable. If any shoe conoisseurs are out there and can tell which shoe would be more comfy, I would greatly appreciate the feedback. FYI both shoes are 1 3/4 inch heel.
1. “Crackle” in lace from myglassslipper.com
2. A custom shoe from an etsy seller. It would be a mixture of this shoe (without the flowers)
with this satin bow

I like the 2nd better because I dont like lace shoes with a lace dress.

gelaine22: valid point, I thought of that too, that it would be too much lace.

I wouldn’t do a lace shoe with a lace dress either.

I love the bottom shoe as is, but since that wasn’t an option, I chose #2

I feel like the off-center bow might look odd with those lines on the front of the shoe, so I voted #1, but individually I like the shoes for #2

ladyamalthea: you know I didn’t realize that until you said it. I actually found a pic of what the custom shoe would look like, but in yellow.
Does it look weird off center? I suppose it can be put directly in the center.
Another option is having a rinestone embellishment on the toe, but I am really loving the bow look.
What do you think?

the bow off center is cute! do it

Quackadoo: I actually think that’s cute! I’m not loving that shade of yellow, but I think they’d look great in white. If you love the bows, you should stick with them.

Definitely the custom shoe. Lace shoes with lace dress is too much I think. Plus, the bows are absolutely adorable and the placement of the bows is unique and cute.

Well it looks like the bow has it!!!
Thanks ladies, you guys really helped me out.
ladyamalthea: I found a shoe I loove that doesn’t have those lines, and I think will better match the bow.

I like how the lines look like it’s part of the bow. Like it’s the ribbon underneath being pulled over.
