I need your unfailing advice again! 🙁 I am getting married next October on a beach in Hawaii. I feel like I could go one of 2 ways with a dress. I feel like a drapey column dress would work fine for Hawaii but FI overall love the look of fit and flare.
This is the one we are both in love with:
But I am hoping to spend $400 tops. I can only find it for $700 on a pre-owned site. So I am looking at alternatives and I found:
But I think the satin might be too heavy for the beach?? Its beautiful and I can find it cheap on a pre-owned site but the satin makes me nervous uggggghhhhh.
then I found this:
Which I actually really like!! But I’m nervous about ordering from this website. Also, FI likes the satin one more than he likes the one from LightInTheBox. But I think the organza would make it more in tune with a beach wedding.
Help bees! Has anyone ever ordered a dress online, no questions? Any ever order from Light in the Box particularly? Tell me your thoughts about satin….do you nkow of any other dressesd that look like what I am going for, and would work well and is cheap??

Of those 3 I like the last one best(but im not familiar with the quality of that company).
What about something like this:
You could have it altered and brought in more fitted at the thigh for a fit n flare look.

Personally I love the last one for a beach wedding! It’s sooo pretty. And your FI will think you are gorgeous no matter which one you wear!!!

@SupermansSweetheart: thanks for your suggestion!! i like it, and i always forget about alterations, its true that I could have them make a dress into what I want it to be, but I am always so ervous about the extra cost and what if it doesnt work out to be the way i want it to be…
hands down, dress shopping has been the most stressful part of my wedding planning.

@Sunnyday278: hahaha he says that too but then i show him dresses and i can see his reaction to the satin one versus the organza one…he just loves it more. ughhh so frustrating!!!
