#2! I'm actually NOT a lace-type girl, but that dress looks fabulous on you!
I think I don't like the combo of flowers and crystals in #1. If it were just the flowers, or just the crystals, I think I would like it more.
Definitely #2!!! I thought 1 was ehh, ok.. then I saw two and that one is stunning on you!
#2, far and away! It is beautiful and super flattering on you :)
2 looks amazing. The first one is OK, but I'm not crazy about the details. It's kind of busy, and I'm also not a fan of the way the rhinestones (or whatever they are... the sparkly bits) are placed. The second one is classic, gorgeous and very flattering.
LOL is it THAt obvious then?! 33 votes for dress #2 and only 3 for dress #1!

Definitely 2, and I am not a lace fan normally...it is so pretty on you!
Undoubtedly #2... that first one is kinda ho-hum and looks like it has that applique just thrown on there. #2 looks gorgeousssssss
Agree with all above! The first has A LOT going on and I'm always one to side with simplicity. The cut of the first is very odd throught he hips.
The 2nd is lovely.
The first dress is Dominica (Blue by Enzoani) and the 2nd is the Pronovias Balira
So happy that the 2nd dress is still the winner:)
Whole story: Bought Dress #1 over a month ago but regretted almost immediately because thought my body looked nice in the dress (best among like 20 dresses I tried) but the style was just so not me (hate pick-ups and not sure about the crystals and flower). Called to cancel a few days later.
Went to store again and tried on a few non-mermaid dresses (as didn't want a mermaid due to short and stumpy self) but nothing was right. this was the first mermaid dress i tried on and i love it;)
It's over $1000 more than the first dress so I figured that IF it's a split vote or something, I really shouldn't go overbudget for Dress #2
FI and I totally disagree on which looks best on you. He likes #1 and I say #2. LOL

Based on the pics my FI showed me, the dresses he likes are probably more like no. 1 (only a whole lot more princessy, bigger skirt etc.). I heard most guys prefer this (on paper but only because they think that's how wedding dresses look like and when you wear your dress, no matter what shape, they'll love it anyway simply because you look good in it!).
Think girls prefer no.2 maybe because it's more....modern? fashion-ish?
I personally prefer no.2. After trying on no.2, I actually feel like I hate no. 1:P
The skirt on #1 is gorgeous, and I like the fit on you, it's just something about that top that really bothers me. The applique looks like an afterthought and the bodice is really plain. If you could remove the beading, make a deeper sweetheart neckline and add a jewelled sash instead, I think this would be a stunning dress.
Oh man #2 is so it!!! It looks amazing on you, #1 just doesn't look as good, I think because of the lack of detail on the bodice.
#2! I love the bottom of #1, but the bodice does not go with it and looks awkward. I agree with the poster that said it looked like an afterthought. If I could detach it and stick it on a bodice of my own picking, then I might go for it. But #2 has no flaws! And it is very flattering on your figure! Love the lacey details at the bottom.
There's something about #1 that isn't quite right.. I think the beading/jewels on the bust are beautiful, and that the flower is beautiful- I just don't think they work together. Dress number two is stunning :)
#2 also does it for me. dress #1 doesn't look like a good fit. i like the skirt in #1 but i like #2 better, overall.
Just saw pics of me in this dress again today and I am so glad I picked Dress #2. Love it:)
