Hi Bees,
I went back to try on my number one dress, and there it was on the manequin.. another beautiful dress in the style I had envisioned myself in. I had to try it on! Now I wish I could have two dresses because I love them both!
So please help me decide :)
The 2nd dress was really big in the bust, so when I added the belt it didnt quite sit in the right place.

Although both are gorgeous, I like the detailing of dress 1. Definitely accentuates your figure and the flowers give it the pop.
I'm not usually a fan of the ruffles and flowers, but I think #1 is absolutely stunning on you! You have the body type in which you can rock the pleats and details without it overwhelming you! So my vote is #1 (but #2 is also pretty :) )
I love 2 on you! Stunning! It might just be a shadow in the pic but Dress 1 looks like the bottom is a different color than the top and I'm not crazy about that.
wow i think #1 looks fantastic on you!!! I actually just saw that dress during my first fitting (and really had to contain myself not to try it on lol). It's gorgeous and modern and absolutely flattering on you!!!
I much prefer the fabric and skirt of the 2nd dress. The first one fits you well, but it's very fussy. I think if the 2nd was properly fitted and the pictures were better it would be winning the poll hands down.
i voted #1. usually i would choose #2 over ruffles but when i saw your photos i just said wow when i saw you in #1. both are VERY beautuiful so both are winners
I really like number 1, it really accentuates your figure, and the detailing at the bottom is BEAUTIFUL. It really stands out compared to the second dress.
It's a tough call--they're both so beautiful! But I have to go with dress #1. I was looking at YOU in that dress, which is what you want as a bride (IMO). And you look absolutely amazing in it.
They both look equally fantastic on you. The first one is more opulent, and would suit a ballroom or manor wedding. The second one has cleaner lines, and would suit and outdoor or garden wedding.
I checked in your other threads, and you said you're getting married "outdoors by the water and our reception will take place in a tent." In that case, I voted for the second one. :)
Thank you so much for all your input bees! I love how you bring up things I never even thought of or saw, because my head is not thnking clearly...its clouded with pretty dresses :)
@moara: Yes we are getting married at a mansion on the lawn with a cliff overlooking the ocean, and the recpton will be in the tent next to the mansion. Very good point I forgot to mention.
@kala way: I am going to post more pics of the 2nd dress because I agree..the pictures dont look very well.
@lisaelanna: I didnt have difficult walking in it, and I was twisting around in it up on the podium lol, so I think its dance approved.
Ok so lets try to get some better pics of dress 2, because i realize they are hard to see.
#2, I think it's more classic and I always err on what I think my FI would like more, and I think boys are not as big of fans of ruffles as girls are. It looks flowy and beautiful on you and would probably be easier to dance in and move in than the first dress, plus it'll probably move in the wind at your venue... probably take great pictures
#2! I personally am not a fan of all the business on dress #1. I think 2 is absolutely stunning! It is classic and elegant, and it fits you so well!
Whoa! Tough call! I'm usually all for ruffles and fun skirts, but #2 is really really beautiful. I'd go with that.
Dress 2 is my favorite!!! I think I tried this one on and absolutely LOVED it! I would have gotten it if I hadn't already bought my dress. :) You look beautiful in both though so you really can't go wrong. I just like 2 the best!!!!!
I love, love, love dress No. 1. Your waist is more defined in the dress, and the skirt is beautiful. You'll look great in whatever you choose, though.
Gosh, this is a tough one - I love them both on you too. I usually don't vote for busy looking dresses like #1, but I love how cohesive this one is and I just think it has more "wow" factor than #2. But you can't go wrong either way!!
I LOVE dress 2 on you! It's super flattering and I think it's timeless and elegant. Not much of a fan of the busy bottom of dress 1.
I seriously gasped when I saw Dress 1 on you!! The rouching and detailing around the bottom are SO flattering on you and so unique!! It is the clear winner in my mind!

Your figure looks amazing in both, but I like the simple/classic details of the second dress better. Both are beautiful, though; I can see why you're having a hard time choosing.

Here's my 2 cents. My personal pick is dress #1, I like how the rusching looks compared to dress #2, and the bottom of dress #1 really makes the dress pop. I think if you are going for the wow factor look, dress #1 does the trick, if you want something a bit more timeless, then dress #2. Good luck, whatever you decide to go with I think will be a hit no matter what. :)
