Into invites!Help me decide..best way to incorporate little pop of pink.. : wedding Icon Confused  (link at bottom)

I have two ideas and will choose one.  My colors are shimmery aqua, pink, and black for accent and for adding a classic feel.

Pink is my favorite color, but I don't want to have a mainly pink invite as my guy juuuust might not be down with that. Plus its ours..together.  He loves blue too btw.

So to add a teeny pop of pink on the main invite, I asked the designer to instead of the diamond/clear swarovski crystals (like the invite on the designers' website), add some rose/pink colored swarovski crystals.  I love the pink touch and that will stay.  The black satin bellybands are awesome too.

I'll have her address the outer envelopes (will decide on which colors next..) and I will hand calligraphy the inner ones to our friends and family. (in a shimmery light aqua or pink ink..

Now help me choose!  Which is the best way to further add that touch/pop of pink?

#1 Have the reception card in pink shimmer cardstock

#2 Add a 3rd layer of cardstock (pink shimmer) behind the pearl shimmer layer with the onyx black shimmer as the backing.

The monograms are in light shimmery aqua and the names are also.

Thanks Tripps!  We're going to have a short engagement so I'm getting the show on the road and lining things up asap.  :)

I'm not sure if your using pocketfolds, but this would work with any kind of invite.  We layered our papers.  Our colors were blue, white, and green for our invites.  We used a green pocketfold and in the middle where you put the wording, before we glued to wording piece down we glued a blue piece of shimmery cardstock there and then the wording on top so there was just a pop of blue.
