Krissycake. Are. You. For real. Where do you find all these UNBELIEVABLY amazing little online boutiques?!! I have been searching for good sites to buy dresses for a while now and had better luck with reading this one post than weeks of googling! Girl you are an online shopping goddess! :) What are some of your other favorite sites??

modcloth is totally amazing, as i referenced, and i learned about it through here...but otherwise, i literally do lots of random searches and like to share my finds!
Have you tried www.lulus.com , www.whitehouseblackmarket.com and of course www.nordstroms.com? Those are my go-tos for dresses. Their stock (esp. the first two) changes pretty regularly. :)

There are a lot of cute ones at their website in different fabrics/with different necklines (not sure how conservative you need to go), and I know that second dress I posted is $189 at http://www.houseofbrides.com (I ordered them as bridesmaid dresses with black lace, and they're great!).

You may want to be careful on how short the dress is...some churches you can't even get married with your shoulders showing :/

Before you think I'm crazy, let me explain why. We're getting married on the beach in a semi-destination wedding. But apparently, Catholic priests will only marry you inside a Catholic church. So right now, it looks like we'll have to go to this really small village close to the hotel to the church and get married 'for real' there with probably just our parents and MOH and best man in the morning. Then have this symbolic ceremony on the beach with all the other guests and bridesmaids, etc. at 4pm, then the reception.
So, I already have my white (well, ivory)big puffy wedding dress and I also have a Chinese dress that I was going to change into at the end of the reception. But I"m thinking that I don't want to wear my big dress to the little village church, cuz I'll feel quite silly, and then what? keep it on all day long till the beach ceremony at 4? plus then he'll already have seen me in it when I walk down the beach aisle. So I'm thinking I want another plain, simple, maybe knee length dress for the church. But the thing is my "real" dress only cost $178 cuz it was on super clearance. I like some of those short ones on davidsbridal.com, but they are like $400 and up. I only spent $275 TOTAL for BOTH my dresses so far. But I feel dumb spending more on a short, plain dress than my real dress. Anyone know where I can find a cute dress for cheap? Or maybe a simple, long one?
