I’m interested in a wedding band from a great company like Tiffany, Cartier and BVLGARI. I’m in Canada’s, but can buy anywhere.
In case you’re wondering why it matters, I do alot of manual labor, so I don’t wear nice watches/jewlery, this will probably be the first/last opportunity in this regard.
I’ve decided on a plain 18K gold milgrain band. I saw a 5mm one at our version of Zales (People’s) and liked it alot. However, I can only see comparables at Tiffany’s. The rest have their name on the outside of the ring and I don’t want that (tacky!). Help?

@crazybubba: Try to have it custom made, probably your best bet. With the designers you mentioned, yes they’re all wonderful but you’re going to pay for the name.

@crazybubba: I don’t have any brand name suggestion, but FYI…If you use your hands a lot and do a lot of manual labor I would absolutely NOT recommend 18k gold. 18k gold is very soft. It will scratch very easily. Unless you plan on taking it off all the time. Even 14k gold will scratch fairly easily. Platinum is much better if you want pricey. But in all honestly, working with your hands a lot you may want to get your 18k ring for home and get a “stand-in” ring for when you’ll be working with your hands. Cobalt is excellent for this purpose.

Just for clarification, my FI and I like gold, because the color suits my brown colored hands better.
By manual labor, I mean sorting recycled textiles (folding, feeling material, reviewing the features, etc.
I don’t mind paying the price premium, that’s the point of this question 😛
I also like wooden rings like the one here: http://www.alameahawaii.com/productpage6054.html
but I wonder how and scratchproof those would be. I really don’t want to do a “home” and a “work” ring.
