Hmm, I’d love to help – but from my experience in looking at dresses, it would be a bit difficult to find a long gown for your girls for $50…especially as pretty as the one you like.

Is that your actual wedding date? She probably won’t need to buy a dress until Spring of next year, is there any way you could ask her to save up? If she saved $25 for 6 months she’d have over half of what the dress costs…and you could also cut the cost of the dress a bit. I think Alfred Angelo and David’s Bridal probably have similar gowns for a bit less…

You can’t get a fancy dress from Ross for $40. She said she couldn’t possibly afford more than $40?? I understand being pressed for cash but wow, maybe you can ask her to pay $60-70.

I saw your post and I don’t have time tonight to actually go through these websites to see if there’s a dress similar to yours, but I thought I’d give you the links so that you can check them out yourself! I’ve found dresses on these websites that I like and they’re a lot less than $200!
