I alreay have my Ering, and I love it- it’s a family heirloom from my FI’s side, and while there was a bit of drama right after I got it, I love my ring, and the family is happy I have it. However, for a number of different reasons and after talking to my FI, I’ve decided to get a second ring. He is completely ok with it, I will wear which ever ring I feel like wearing that day. I’m excited to add to my ring collection.
I really, really want a pear shaped one. I love how pear shaped ring look on my fingers and they’re hands down my favourite cut. I found this ring on Moissanite.com that I love- I love the halo, I love the pear and I love the setting. I just love this ring.
There’s one issue- I hate how big it is. I don’t want something that large on my hands. It’s a 2.20 carat total weight, and the center stone is 10 by 7 mm, not including the halo. It’s just too big for me over all. Moissanite.com says they can’t change the size of the center stone, that that is the only size it can come in.
I’ve looked around, and I haven’t found any other rings I like. MoissaniteCo says they don’t like to work in pear shapes (they say they come out green) and so I don’t want to order a custom setting I can’t return if I hate it, and all the diamond ones I can find are over $4000. I really wanted to stay under $2000. Another bee posted this incredible diamond halo, but it’s $6000. So that’s out.
So Bees, can you help me find a pear shaped halo that:
A) Has a center stone no bigger then 1.0 Carat
b) Has a clear center stone (diamond, Moissy or sapphire are my top choices)
C) Isn’t going to cost me an arm and a leg! (under $2000)
