a girl I met at a local bridal show does something like you’re mentioning — she’s on facebook and etsy — https://www.facebook.com/jolipetale and http://www.etsy.com/shop/JoliPetale I personally adore every piece I’ve seen and played with (she’s carried at the salon I did a trial hair and makeup run with!).. this was the piece I loved the most @ the bridal show!

ETA: I just saw how sparse her etsy is – please check her out on facebook  — she’s got some great (and affordable) choices that are just beautifully vintage pieces. (the look I am wanting as well!) good luck!

@HopefulSim:  message her — she had a long lace piece (but no beading) at the salon — I am sure if you show her your inspiration she can figure something out for you … she’s the sweetest thing!

@HopefulSim:  i will be interested to see what everyone comes up with! I love that picture and think it would be quite easy to replicate it by searching etsy for a beaded appliqué. Good luck!

@HopefulSim:  I have been looking for vintage accessories too.  I found this shop that will be making my jewelry, and possibly something for my hair.  She is a little expensive, but so far she has been wonderful to work with.

Here is the link so you can check out what she has.
