How about small buckets or you can look for picture holders that are beached themed on the bottom I know my Christmas tree store had some last summer
Is there someone handy in your family? Because if there is you could get them to make small versions of these really cheaply (use scrap yards to make it even cheaper)

And if they can make them water tight you can make a small beach setting in there
There is a cake mold that you can buy that looks like a castle. I think that you can use it to make your own sand castles for each table, mixing sand and plastic, or maybe sand and starch?
You could use sand castles that are made for aquariums. You can stand a card with a table name in the castle. They are small (this one is 3x3x4) so you would need to raise them up on something that you set in the sandbox. You could use something inexpensive like a wine glass, or bud vase that you have coated in white glue and rolled in sand.
Thanks for the ideas, bees!
@lisha_1988, that's what we are planning on doing, but obviously beach stuff not construction. we are going to try and put a fish bowl with a goldfish in the middle of the sandbox.
My other option instead of a sandcastle is taking styrofoam balls and painting them goldish tan to make it look like a sand mound and put some trinkets on it . Then its very inexpensive.
Our budget is very VERY limited for decor. But Im really crafty (or I like to think that I am )

Contrary to my last post, we are doing a nautical/beach themed wedding, which goes with our venue and colors hand in hand. we are doing a sandbox as our centerpiece and want to add a sandcastle to hold the table numbers, which will now be names of nearby lakes.
So what Im asking, Bees, is should I be looking for sandcastles under 10 dollars, since I have 22 tables, or do you all have a better idea for something to hold up the name of our table in the sandbox.
Thanks for your support!!
