I have grown to love my dress. Although I feel like the bottom is very plain and the train is understated. Since I am getting married in a church I would like there to be some detail especially on the train.
Has anyone had this done before and If so where did you find your lace? I have been looking on Etsy to see if any lace matches my dress, but it’s hard.
How do you pickout lace for a dress that wasn’t custom made for it?
Thanks for any help! You ladies have been so helfpul with all my wedding related questions.

@ClassicLady: Oh wow that is a gorgeous dress. I would love to see the full length of the dress. The tulle of veils and wedding dresses are hard enough to match up, let alone changing the bottom half your dress. You might think that the bottom half is plain but you dont want to take away from the fine detailing at the top half by adding more on the bottom. Its just too pretty… the bottom reminds me of a dress from a fairy tale.
What about adding a long floor length veil with crystal/rhinestone/buggle bead detailing along the bottom?
It wont take away from the beatiful beading of the dress but will add a bit of “umf” along the bottom. Hard to see but looks like you might have a bit of a train so you might also want to look at a chapel length veil especially if its a church wedding.
Best of luck….either way you will be gorgeous!!!
