Are you looking for paper parasols? I saw both green and pink ones at Hobby Lobby. I bought blue ones there.
I haven't ordered from here yet, so I can't attest to the quality- but I was seriously considering their silk fans as a replacement for bouquets : http://asianideas.com/paper.html
@buttontoes: Yes! Paper ones are fine. There isn't a Hobby Lobby around where I live though, but I can order them off line! I didn't even think of that place! Thank you!
@arclee: These look great, thank you :) I'm so happy to find where there are some all-lace parasols too! Yippee! Thanks so much guys <3
Another great place to look is in a local china town. They are much cheaper than ordering online and you can see the product quality right away.
@brooch: I dont know where you live, but depending on how much you need, I just got mine from ChinaTown in Vancouver. I know the bigger cities have districts like that.
I bought all the ivory ones off craigslist and mine for 9.00 from downtown.
I know someone already suggested Hobby Lobby, but I just bought a pink one from there and painted our date on it for pictures and I just wanted to mention that they are only $6 and they are decent quality! I'm not sure if you can use the 40% of coupon online, but that would be one heck of a deal!
oriental trading has cheap ones, but i think they are all plain white.
@Baileyh: Wow! What a steal! I wonder if Chinatown in DC would have anything like that? I guess it doesn't hurt to look before ordering anything. I definitely need to be budget savvy, so I'm going to look into it! Thanks :) Your pics are GORG, btw.
@Coleerenee: That is a good deal, thanks :)
@brooch: Chinatown in DC doesn't really have.... anything. If you were planning a NY trip it would be worth it to look though :)
@arclee: I am actually planning a trip... I'm just not sure on the dates yet. Although one of my BM just moved to NYC, and I know she'd love to help out with wedding plans, if she could! Maybe I'll ask her to look around. Thanks :)
I bought my hand painted ones from http://www.siamese-dream.com/UMBpaper.html . For guests, I would probably just buy plain ones from orientaltrading.
Ok I took pictures of my parasols that I bought from Hobby Lobby and painted our date on them...I know Hobby Lobby doesn't have the best website for viewing their products, so just in case you were thinking of ordering from there, here is what the pink ones look like (I followed Mrs. Sewing & Miss Meerkats tutorials to paint them):

These are a little different but sooo pretty!!
@Coleerenee: WOW! It's sooo pretty! SOLD! Thanks!
@Miss Marine: I heart lace! Those are divine!

Hey ladies...
I was wondering if any of you knew of a good online (or other) resource for purchasing parasols. I haven't decided whether I'm getting a lot for our guests during the outdoor ceremony, or just for my girls during pictures, but either way I'd like to order them soon!! Suggestions??
Thanks :)
Oh and our colors are green and pink, in case you didn't already know that!!
