kygirl, I had the exact same problem as you.  Short, off white dress, 4" heels, peep toe…even the size 6 thing! so I understand.  I went to zappos and even though the ladies at the dress salon said I could go with off-white shoes, I wanted something I would wear again.  So here’s what I decided:

Although I’m still looking around, these really stuck out to me.  I think since the dress is long it shouldn’t matter and as long as my jewelry is silver and my dress has silver on it, I should be fine.  Take a look at RSVP shoes or even Nina shoes on Zappos to kinda get an idea, they are even well priced I think.  And they ship super quick!

Off-white can be hard to find, as I discovered with my own dress.  I ended up picking out shoes that I liked and having this brilliant woman hand-paint them with scenes from the garden where we were married.  She is great to work with and can do anything from a simple design to re-creating a famous painting:

Most of the pics on her site are of work done on more casual shoes, but I can assure you she did a fantastic job on my vintage-y style mules too.  If you want to see pics of my shoes, email me [email protected].

I too have been looking for a long long time and also wear a size 6! My dress is ivory and my colors and chocolate brown and pink, so I decided on gold shoes (that way I could wear them after the wedding too) I just found (literally arrived 3 days ago) 2 pairs of shoes on Shoebuy.com. It is free shipping and free shipping on returns too.  That way when I decide which one I like better, i can send the other one back free.

Also, you can search online for deals for even a bigger discount (I found one for 20% off)  Each pair ended up under $60 bucks!

Good Luck!
