Any idea what the wedding scenery was like? Like, woods, modern, beach, etc?
it was inside, maybe a hotel or ballroom? there was footage of the first look with the bride and groom on a staircase.
Hmm, was it a company local to you? Here is the link to our videographers website who has a similar style to what you are describing. http://www.cineventpro.com/ Who knows, they may just have the video you are looking for.
It sounds like it could be a stillmotion video. They have many videos that could fit that profile. I might be slightly obsessed with their videos....
Maybe not this one, but sounds close. Even if it's not it, it's worth watching!
I feel like I know what you are talking about but I have no idea whose it was!! If I were you I would just go throgh the different bees olds posts and search forever - but that could take a while
@ILikePink: YES!!!!! Thank you :) :) :) The officiant is amazing. I remembered it a little differently (I think I combined it with one of the bees' videos) but this is definitely the one I was thinking of.
@PitBulLover:is this the video you were thnking of?
Glad I could help! Boy has to steal my computer sometimes, when I am watching Stillmotion videos, or HumanStory videos, bawling, haha. Or sometimes, cute kitty videos. God, I can't resist the cute kitty videos.
If I won the lottery, I would hire stillmotion to do our wedding BUT we have the next best thing. We have videographers who have attended workshops with stillmotion.
amazing... So, is it wrong to want to take what was said and make it your own? I am just starting to think about what all I would like to have in our ceremony. Anyone else using some or all of this?
This video is seriously stunning! I can't believe how talented the people of stillmotion are... I definitely had chills while watching this.
Hi, guys. :)
Thank you for such nice comments! I am "Jen" from "Jen+Ming". I have been lurking on the boards since we've married and have not posted in such a long time. I am really glad we chose to have video towards the end of our planning process and that we splurged a bit for our officiant. His delivery was amazing! I'm glad others are able to enjoy it as well.
My FIL recently passed away and even though he didn't make as many appearances in the finished product as my parents did, it's the only moving memory that my husband has of him that he can always watch over and over. Picture just aren't the same. I really urge no matter your budget or situation, give yourself that gift and opportunity. You will thank yourself! Grab a friend and give them a video camera if you are on a budget. There is nothing like video of your friends and family that you can treasure for decades, especially when they are gone.
@JCM9608: Jen, it is awesome that your husband can find comfort in the video! It is really, truly beautiful!
You have no idea how excited I was to find it again after I lost it. I can't remember how I came across it originally, but it definitely stuck with me :) And we will DEFINITELY have some video, although it will probably be cobbled together from flip cameras ;)
@JCM9608: I'm a Stillmotion bride too (and here) and I totally agree, there are a million reasons why having a video of your day is so important. There are a lot of nuances and moments that can't be caught properly on film. I'm so glad we decided to have Stillmotion shoot both stills and cinematography for us. I'm so sorry to hear of the lose of your FIL, but so glad you both find comfort and can relive moments with him in your video. Your video gave me goosebumps and totally made me tear up. I love the shots of your dress flying in the wind on the street corner and going by on the rolling rack. Incredible. Your officiant was wonderful! We also used The Union, it speaks volumes :) Glad you're still sticking around WB, it's nice to talk to another Stillmotion bride!
Ok, I just watched it and cried....I'm a sap but that video was beautiful! I'm sorry to hear about your FIL.
@Ms. Sparkles: I think Stillmotions tag line should be "We'll make you cry", LOL! I swear I haven't watched one of their wedding movies without crying yet! What's even more embarassing is when we went to meet with them and I was crying in their screening room during their presentation
@bakerella: I was planning to just have a videographer, but I now must check into stillmotion. Yes, there needs to be a warning to it because I'm sitting here at my desk all teary eyed after watching your video as well. It was beautiful. Love your red shoes!
@Ms. Sparkles: Awww thanks! I can safely say it was worth every penny :)
Did you guys see Miss French Toast's recent blog post about how her FI has started doing some stillmotion style videos? http://www.weddingbee.com/2011/01/13/stop-motion-video/
You have to watch the one he made!
@bikinihoneymoon - awww thanks for the shout out!! you made Mr. French Toast blush

There is an AMAZING video out there that I had bookmarked. The sound of the vows is played over footage of the first look, etc. The vows were really touching (maybe something about scaring away monsters)?
I had it bookmarked, but my computer crashed and I lost all of my bookmarks :(
