I have had 2 wedding trials and I am not happy with either. There are things I like, and I even like the hair, I just don’t feel it is PERFECT and I want to feel that way. So bees, here is my dress and the two trials. What would you do? My hair is just past my shoulders, blonde and will do anything. Help!

I like the updo with your dress but I think it is too structured a messy up d like this might look good

I think that since most of your pictures will be taken from the front, that’s the area you need to be most happy with. Looser, messy…whatever you want, but not as severe as the first photo. All the work is in the back of your head….

I like the updo better than the down do.

I really think the Taylor swift on ewould look beautiful on you the first one is too structured and the second one is too fru fru for you. Your beautiful you dont need so much done i dont think.

I feel like you could really carry off bangs/sideways sweep with looser curls than what you showed here, ala:

I like the updo from the back but the frnt it not right. In your dress photos, you have side swept bangs. Maybe your stylist cna incorporate those into an updo. I tink you look great with bangs and a side part!

I like the idea of the updo, but I think you have too much volume on top and in the front. I would try to incorporate a part (rather than pulling it all straight back), eliminate most of that volume, and maybe make the bun a little smaller. I’m also a big fan of the Taylor Swift look, and the curls in your second trial photos look nice, so maybe you could try something like that?

I will chime in and agree that the updo would look better with less structure in the front. I bet you could rock the Taylor Swift look above, but maybe with the back pulled up a little higher.

I like the idea of the updo…but like some have said it looks way too structured…and I think it makes you look slightly older because it is so structured. I think that you would look great with some side swiped bangs…I LOVE the pic that simpleandchic posted of Taylor Swift…its romantic and classic…I think it would look awesome on you!

I agree with the other girls that a less structured updo would look better. The one you have looks kind of old fashioned to me.

I think an updo will look beautiful with your dress but I think the heavier make-up along with the traditional hairstyle is what is throwing me off a bit in your first pics. I would suggest keep that same hair but have a lighter make-up application (like in the 2nd hair trial) or keep the heavier make-up with a fresher loose updo. That will keep you looking young and beautiful as you are.

Hair up shows your face and dress off better than 1/2 up. And its a pretty face so don’t hide it! Also it looks more elegant (if thats a look you’re going for). Maybe ask your hairdresser if s/he can make it little less severe, with either waves/fringe/side parting to soften the front.

Oooh, I LOVE the back of that updo!! I think you should ask your stylist to give you a side part to soften up the front a bit.
p.s. your venue is gorgeous all lit up like that!
