Go to whatthefont.com

Upload a screen grab of the word

Enter the letters highlighted in the boxes.

See the results it comes up with.

My FI is looking up the font right now to see if he can figure it out.

Also, sometimes caligraphers hand write something and create a font out of it, so it isn’t an actual font.

It’s called Burgues Script. It’s not a free font, but it is SO gorgeous! I am using it on our wedding invites and when I did graphic design, I used it all of the time. For the entire family (with the alternates and everything) it’s $100.

There’s a few fonts that are free that are like it that you may want to check out 🙂

Respective

Champignon

and Some Weatz is another option.

Just remember that in order to access any of the alternates (or glyphs, as they are referred to) you have to have a design program such as Illustrator.

DaFont.com has LOTS of pretty options too that are free if you go under the “calligraphy” section.
