You can get curtain lights and hang them at the top of those vertical drapes and wrap them around.
You can also make and hang your own chandeliers.
Find 2 old dining room fixtures with the lights facing upward. Remove the fixtures and leave the base. Replace the lights with battery operated pillar candles.
This is a modern one but the pic demonstrates the style you are looking for.
you can add more light by using those cute lanterns from Ikea on your tables with candles or LED lights

wow thanks guys! I got overwhelmed and I think we're just going to have an event company install par can lighting. They also have birch trees with twinkle lights that I think would look awesome, but since I didn't plan a budget for lighting, these trees are probably not going to make the cut.
@razzzzzz: share with us the pictures of your tent!! Congratuations! I see that you got married on the 24th!!!

Hi Bees! Help! We visited our reception location and got our first glimpse of the tent the provide for the reception. The tent has perimeter lighting, but it is still really dark inside! I'm trying to figure out a cost effective way to bring in more lighting.
A lighting company quoted me $400 to hang two Chandeliers inside. Right now, I'm feeling like $400 is too much to spend. I've thought about stringng paper lanterns, but with all that draping, I just can't see how I can possibly hang paper lanterns in there.
I'm really at a loss as to what to do. I'd love some advice!
Here's the inside of the tent during the day:
