I think that yellow flowers would look really pretty!! An option for the other half of the tables are cylinder vases with floating candles. You can put grey rocks in the bottom with yellow floating petals. Here is what I am doing on half of my tables at the reception. Good luck!!
Have you thought of using you BM flowers as centerpieces for some of the tables? Double duty!!!!
What about someting like this and subsituting the small arrangement for the lantern?
Maybe you could think of a theme for each table and decorate the centerpiece around the theme. Themes could be:
Places visited/ vacations
favorite movies/songs
childhood books
family members
countries of the world
hobbies/ interests
you could print out table numbers with pictures, place objects on the tables, get a picture frame easil to put the book/ family picture/ vacation picture on it. the possibilities are endless

Hello bees! I seriously need your help. I can't seem to decide on decor for our reception. I think i've looked at a million inspiration pics that I like, which leaves me even more confused. Our colors are gray, mustard yellow, white/ivory. Below is a pic of our reception hall
We are going to have ivory pintuck linens, gray napkins, mahoghany chivari chairs and amber uplighting. The part I can't figure out is the centerpieces. To cut on flower costs, i wanted to do half the tables with the o so famous candle lanterns from Ikea (see below) with two small arrangements on either side. but I can't figure out what color of flowers to use...White flowers? Yellow? Mixture of both? I also need help figuring out what to do with the other half of the tables. We don't really have a theme, but I want sort of a modern, fresh, clean, simple, but elegant look to the wedding. Any ideas you guys have would be greatly appreciated. Please help!!!!!! Thank you!
