It's been ages since I've been to Cancun... and even then I was 12 :-)

We're going for 9 days.... It's not helping that it's a high of 80 something and lows in the 60s. How many bathing suits, dresses, casual clothes, etc? We're doing an all inclusive resort.

    Thanks!

Sounds like you got the list right there!

I love to bring LOTS of swim suits because they don't always dry over night and being from Florida I have lots of swium suits.

Lots of swim suit cover ups (dresses, breezy pants, etc).

If you are planning on hanging around the hotel, my guess would be you will be in a swim suit and cover up most of the day.  I doubt you will need many "casual clothes" except for dinners or any outings.

The evenings will be chilly so don't forget a sweater.

This article by Signature Grand Honeymoon says 2 swimsuits each but it's really up to you and if you're a water person. There are other packing ideas too :)

I would say 3 swimsuits because you want them to be fully dry before rewearing them! Here was my packing list for our honeymoon.....

â–¡   Passports (if you are leaving the country)

    â–¡   Drivers licenses

â–¡   Copy of marriage license (we got a free massage on our honeymoon with this)

    â–¡   Cash

â–¡   Print out all reservations (in case your room is switched on you or something happens at the resort)

    â–¡   Flip flops

â–¡   Closed toe shoes for men (our resort required this for one restaurant)

â–¡   Citronella candle (to put on our balcony to keep bugs away – we actually used this a lot and were happy to have it!)

â–¡   OFF wipes (we did not use these once!)

â–¡   TUMS/pepto/advil/immodium/first aid kit (did not have immodium)

â–¡   Drink insulators (we forgot to bring this and they would have actually been really useful because it got so hot that the drinks were sweating NON STOP)

    â–¡   Sunglasses

â–¡   iPods and headphones (forgot our iPods/headphones and it was fine)

â–¡   extra batteries and extra SIM cards (so you can take tons of photos)

    â–¡   camera

â–¡   cheap watch (waterproof) (didn’t have it and we never knew what time it was but when you’re one vacation why does it matter!?)

    â–¡   sunscreen

    â–¡   chapstick

    â–¡   beach bag

â–¡   plastic bags (for sandy/wet items) (Ziploc bags were my savior at the end of our trip because of the humidity our stuff took a while to dry so instead of mixing it with all other clothes they were put in Ziploc bags!)

    â–¡   3 bathing suits each

â–¡   Hats (I only wore my hat once – not necessary)

â–¡   Sundresses, cover ups, tank tops, shorts

    â–¡   Linen pants for Noah

    â–¡   Books

â–¡   T-shirts, shorts, button up or polo shirts

â–¡   Aloe vera (we didn’t get burnt so we never used the aloe)

    â–¡   Razors

    â–¡   Toothbrush/toothpaste

    â–¡   Lotion

    â–¡   Makeup /tweezers/ makeup remover

â–¡   Pens and Sudoku (we actually played a lot of Sudoku on our honeymoon!)

    â–¡   Lingerie

â–¡   Contacts case and solution and eye drops (forgot all my contacts at home…I was fine!)

    â–¡   Birth control

â–¡   In carryon bag put necessary toiletries/medications, a change of clothes and a bathing suit each  in case bags get lost (this happened to a couple we met and they had to buy stuff at the gift shop until their stuff got there!!!)

I really wish there was like a fashionista packing list!

All the lists I find are like for my mom. Sorry I dont wear flats no matter how many miles you think im gonna walk they just are not for me.

and 2 shirts?! for 7 days?! I need 3 outfits a day how am I going to manage that with only 2 shirts

    YAY! Found a better 1 http://allaboutstyle.blog.com/2010/06/15/the-essential-packing-list-for-a-stylish-summer-vacation/
