Great job! I love the drama of the tall branches, especially from the sound of your reception venue. The crystal strands are a nice touch! Are you adding anything else around the table? Maybe candles or votives?
The tall branches will be nice with the high ceilings. Will you put anything else on the table around the centerpiece??
love the tall black branches!! you could also put orchids on the stems and perhaps a band around the vase to glam it up a bit with a few votives around the base.... something like this with a circular wreath would be really pretty as well....
Thanks for the feedback! I'll have votives around the branches, and was also thinking of either doing flowers in bud vases or attaching flowers directly to the branches.
I voted for the tall, black branches as well, the other one looked a little haphazard or something to me...I love branch centerpieces tho, I think with some candles and low floral arrangements, it's going to look stunning!
I like the dark branches the most. You could even go without the the beads to save money. You did a such a good job on them! I think they will look great. I agree wit the other bees that candles would look awesome on the bottom. You can even buy flameless ones and just put them in holders. Or buy a flora lyte or two to put in the bottom of them for lots of drama.
great job! i love the length in the tall one...
My question is this..is the hotel modern (the ballroom) or is it more traditional? What is your other wedding style and what are the colors?
While I like the taller branches, I think the silver branches and the urn are a bit more ballroom formal in appearance and may very well match your overall style better, but without really hearing what your ballroom looks like, the colors of your wedding, and the style of your wedding I am only giving my comment based on what I'm assuming..but I'd love to see what the exact style and colorscheme is for your big day to make the best decision!
I like the tall branches. You could also thread orchid blossoms (freeze dried) and hang them from the branches. I saw this done with red branches and red orchids.
The ballroom is more traditional - all marble, huge chandelier in the middle, marble columns. The tablecloths will be white with gold tablecloths underneath. The wedding colors are just black and white, but I'm going with the gold tablecloths because that's what the hotel provides and the chairs will also be gold, upholstered ones.
That being said, I wonder if the silver manzanita would clash with the gold chairs. I agree that the tall branches might not fit with the more traditional look of the ballroom, but so far the response has been overwhelmingly for the tall black branches! Maybe I should spray paint the branches gold?
Arizonabride, where can I get freeze dried orchid blossoms? That's a great idea.
I like the tall branches centerpieces. Maybe you should do what you suggested by spraypainting them gold and see how they look. I bet that can look awesome!
I like the tall branches, and since your colors are gold, white, & black, I would incorporate them into the centerpeices a bit. You can stick with the black branches (since black is one of your colors) and change out the beads for ones that are gold in color, I think that would help tie the centerpeice to the table a little bit better then the beads you currently have :)

My fiance and I did a mock up of our centerpieces this weekend and need help deciding which one to choose.
The reception will be at a marble hotel ballroom with high ceilings. The round table will be large enough to hold 12 people.
Thanks, bees!
