The Mori Lee is very flowing and princess like.
The Alfred Angelo is very sparkly over the chest although it doesn’t show up a lot in this pic.
What do you guys think?

What do you like about each one? It’s hard to see in a picture how you feel in each one.

If you vote “keep looking” do you have any suggestions or ideas? I have tried on piles of dresses and I really don’t want to look anymore. Do you have a look in mind? Or are you thinking that I should know when it’s “the one?”

Neither one seems to be doing much for your figure. Some of that may have to do with the dresses not being your size. Have you tried getting a corset back, A-line to really emphasize your lovely hourglass figure?

julieandjaiden: I have tried on piles of dresses, none of the Maggie’s were noteworthy on me.
babyboo: Neither dress remotely fits. That has been the case at every shop that I have been to (at least 5). The Mori Lee has my mom holding it together in the back- it looked better clamped tighter, but that store would not allow pictures. The Alfred Angelo has a corset back but my sister did it up and she wasn’t completely sure how.
We drove several hours to get to the only shop that would allow pictures. I am pretty sure they are both A-line, I just do not have an hourglass figure. I have a lumpy middle section and no boobs.
Here is my previous post on the subject: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/picking-a-dress-i-need-help
I even emailed Mori Lee’s website to ask if it was possible to get the dress with a shorter waist, with maybe 3 rows of beading instead of 4, but they never responded at all.
I would even consider having a dress made if I knew what I wanted, but I don’t. I just don’t want to look frumpy. I would welcome suggestions. 🙂

I say keep looking but if I had to choose between the two the AA dress for sure.

I would suggest trying to find something with some layers or ruching on the skirt, a little narrower and maybe a v-neck. Maybe something like this picture. It’s a Mori Lee that I saw on a post here. Good luck in your shopping.

I think you should get a V-neck, or sweetheart neckline. I do like the rouching across the tummy, and I think the second dress’ skirt is too full. Have you been to a David’s Bridal? I also really like Roberta Bee’s suggestion, although I would want the skirt to be fuller.

LOVE THE DRESS RobertaBee posted.

i agree a sweetheart neck would be best! 🙂 also try something more structures… maybe something with rusching on top 🙂

I like the halter that the first picture has and it looks like it gives your “ladies” the support they deserve. If you keep looking, I think that some sort of strap is the way to go.

The dress posted is beautiful but it is fitted though the waist which I would never be able to get into. My tummy sticks out farther than my boobs so I don’t think anything fitted over my tummy is going to be a good look for me .
I was considering having it made into a sweetheart neckline during alterations if possible on the AA.
I am not sure how it could have more rouching on top as it currently goes right up to under the boobs and I am looking to enhance those, not minimize!
The top doesn’t fit well on either of those dresses, that will have to come once they are sized and altered.
Here is the a David Bridal dress, but I didn’t think it was a good idea…

Out of the pics you have posted, I like this DB dress the best! It gives you an hourglass shape, and YOURE SMILING!!! It also covers your arms like you wanted.
