@ScottishMrs:  would she wear a ring like that because TBH theirs no way I’d wear a ring with that many different colors in it. Sorry but I’m not fan of any of them:(

I like ring two the best, followed by ring three. :]

@ScottishMrs:  I agree with Holly77. I voted for number two but I think they are all hideous, sorry. It’s a very sweet thought though! One suggestion, they might look marginally better if you have the two pale blue stones (aquamarine?) on either end…Oh also remember there are multiple birthstones for each month, so perhaps you could choose stones with a more cohesive tonal range. The dark/light mishmash is a big contributor to the hideous factor, I think.

Sorry, I agree with others – I kept scrolling down, hoping the next one would be a little better, but it wasn’t. I suppose if these colors and styles are what she likes, #3 or 8 are OK.

    I definitely prefer rings #2 & #3.

I love two.  I think the “issue” is that people are use to seeing more simple/classic style on the bee and these are a bit bold and colorful.  My mom would love one of these rings or a necklace like this.  She use to wear baby booty charms with our birthstone when we were kids and she’s not very colorful dress wise and has a very classic style.

I wouldn’t wear any of these rings, and I’m 150% certain my FMIL wouldn’t either. I think its a sweet idea,  but have you considered a ring with 6 stones of the same color, preferably her favourite stone because a lot of people I know will only wear one particular stone (my FMIL only wears diamonds and rubies, my aunts will only wear diamonds and sapphires).

Also, does she wear yellow or white gold? Most older (40+) women I know wear yellow gold.

I know lots of ladies who love family rings. They care more about what it represents, I think its a great idea for your MIL

I love number 1 but without the names. I don’t really like any of the other ones

Sorry, but I don’t like any.

Maybe some kind of colorful, flower cluster type ring?

I don’t really like this either, but it’s a little better.

How about a charm bracelet? I think this is cute:
