Okay so I posted last week with my 1 st proof here http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/1st-proof-for-invations-love-them-but#axzz2jPbGIYUN and got really good feed back.. i got my four suit’s today and need help. Both FI and I have our fav but we want to ask the board what one they like just for general feed back because you ladies are so helpful !
I do have two wording question tho on the detail card should it say “a block of rooms have been reserved” not “a block of rooms has been reserved” ? also on that card there is a spelling mistake it say form not from.. haha my bad will be fixing that once I pick what suit to go with.
also do you think its rude to put adult dinner and dance.. and have we have reserved __ seat(s) in your honor.
OKay ladies let here your thought !!! thanks for taking the time to read this !!
1. love the reception card on this one !
2. Like the wording format on the Reponce card on this one like the blue boarder but think I would get the headers (DETAILS, RESPONCE, RECEPTION) in navy not pink. also like the grey steams
3. Not sure about the design on the top of the invite I feel like thats all I look at when I try and read it.
4. Dont ovely care for this one I think the font is too fancy for the flower design

@inlovebee: I like the first one best. What is the thought process behind “adult dinner and dance”? Are you saying they can bring kids to the ceremony but not the reception? I would just make the whole wedding adults only and indicate it by addressing the invite to only the adults (not “the Smith family”).

yeah we do want it a adult wedding.. just after reading so much on the board with people not understanding that I just wanted to make it really clear, I was planning on still just addressing in to the adults. on the other hand some of the parents stated we cant ask people to get a sitter all day then at night again so we should let kids at the ceremony..

I like the first one best, I love the flowers! Is this from an invitation site?

I like the first set best. I think it’s perfect. I think making the headings pink is too much – it’s much better as the accent pop! 🙂 The only thing I would change is to left-align “”adult blah blah” with the other text. Right now it is further left than the rest of the text, and every other card is perfectly aligned.
It’s a super adorable suite!

#3 i hate the way the logo for The Bay is – it’s the first thing I see – I would avoid putting the logo on the invite – really you shouldn’t mention the registry on the card but lots of people do so whatever. I would have it in the same text as everything else personally. I think #1 is my favourite – the way they’re laid out here I’m having a hard time getting a good feel for each one individually.

Very pretty. I like the grey with the pink better than the navy blue. I would leave the registry information off altogether. Have your friends and family spread that information by word of mouth or just tell people if they ask. If you have a wedding website, I think it’s fine to list that information there.

The last one i dislike the most because the typeface used for the “reception” etc. headings– IMO it reads too formal and seems to disconnect from the rough, whimsical feeling of the flowers.
To answer your room block question– it should be HAS
You’re referring to A block (of rooms)– eliminate the rooms part and it would read:
A Block has been reserved– ah so nice and flowy & correct.
A Block have been reserved — not gramatically correct.
