#1- The rest all feature a dog and may lead people to believe you only have dog supplies.

number 1 for sure… it’s the most unique.  The only one that I actually thought looked different than the norm…PP is right also that it will lead customers to think its all dog supplies

I voted #1. Three and four are really cute, but some people are scared of Rotties. (I’m betting you own one : ) What about a paw print or something instead of the dog…?

Here are a few rules for logo design.

Basically, the more complicated the logo, the less recongnizable it will be. You want people to remember it and be able to immediately associate it with your company.

I voted 1, because it’s short, sweet and straight to the point. Would look good in black & white and on a business card. It would not take up a lot of room if it were embroidered on something (T-shirt, dog collar/leash/pet clothes, belts, bags, bandanas, etc) and it’s easily memorable.

In the time I’ve been typing this, I cannot recall what any of the dogs looked like in the other logo designs. I know there were dogs but they weren’t memorable. I do, however, remember your Golden Leash design logo and how clever it was.

The first thing I saw in #3 is a dog about to choke himself!

I love that you used a Rottie, but I think that it would make others think that you are dog only (are you?)

    So with that said, #1!

    I loved #3, but as a graphic designer i know #1 will work better, so i voted 1 🙂

I agree with everything Hyperventilate said. I do gave one suggestion for a change though. The placement of the clasp of the leash makes the “L” look a bit weird, almost like a “U”. Could the leash be a bit shorter and therefore the clasp be the horizontal line of the “L”?
