We are having a Sunday morning brunch at the beach in July. Everyone at the Bee was super helpful a couple of months ago when they voted on the quantity/type of alcohol they would drink in my Drink Poll. Now, the hotel has suggested that we put together a display menu of a handful of suggested cocktails for our guests (that they will ensure they have the proper ingredients for), in addition to the full bar.
We will be passing Bloody Marys and Mimosas during cocktail hour, while having the bar open (full bar, champagne and 4-5 beers…no wine). What drinks would you like to see on a bar menu on a warm July afternoon at the beach? Pina Coladas? Mojitos? Daquiris? Margaritas? Mai Tais? Other?
I’m thinking of listing 6 drinks:
Beer (list of options)
Champagne (list of options)
THREE MORE CHOICES — Help me decide!

I would definitely include Margaritas!
Maybe adding a poll would give you some more feedback?

I think since it’s going to be a beach wedding, you should definitely have tropical drinks. Pina Coladas, Mai Tais, and Daquiris. You could even consider coming up with a “signature drink” special for your day 🙂

I agree stick with the tropical drinks, anything with rum and fresh fruit juice, pina coladas and all that jazz

What about a rainbow of choices:
Bloody Mary (red)
Strawberry Daquiris (orange)
Blue Hawaiian (blue)

@MrsLulu: I love the rainbow of choices, that’s such a great idea!! Do it!

Do an awesome signature mimosa – a local restaurant does a lime-verbena mimosa that is the best thing in the world!

Raspberry mojitos are amazing! Just have them muddle raspberries with the mint leaves and sugar. YUM!

Oh god, you HAVE to have mojitos! Mojitos are my favorite drink ever 🙂
Also, I vote for margaritas (bleh, tequila, but most people like this) and either pina coladas or daiquiris. However, if you had the ingredients for margaritas and mojitos (limes, rum), they should also be able to make daiquiris. Perhaps put seven drinks on there instead of six?

@MrsLulu: When are strawberry daiquiris orange? Mine are always red..
