Happy early Saturday morning. I wish I were back in bed but I had a streaming list of ideas and couldn’t fall back asleep so I came on the bee, clearly I need help.
Idea 1 : Originally I thought it would be cool if everyone picked a colorful dress of their own choosing. And I would figure out a way to unify them. I haven’t figured that out yet.
Idea 2: Some shade of grey (but not that damn book) dress of their choosing.
Idea 3: Black dress (keep it simple stupid) dress of their choosing.
The Fiance likes Idea 1 because to him it’s unique. But he says ultimately it’s up to me. I have mentioned Idea 1 to one of my bridesmaids and she loves it. I mentioned Ideas 2 and 3 to another bridesmaid and she suggested navy blue. I’m not keen on navy blue, for no real reason.
Do you think I could pull idea 1 off without it looking cray cray? pics if you have them.
Do you think grey looks good on every skin tone, hair color, body shape, etc?
If this makes a difference I am thinking of doing dried lavender bouquets and bouts. I saw the idea on Etsy and was like wtf? why didn’t I think of that earlier? I love love love lavender. And I am trying to save money on the flower end of things because flowers die. WHY DO THEY DIE!?
okay seriously I’ll make a poll and stop rambling and I swear I haven’t had any coffee.

I voted for black that way everyone will feel comfortable and look more unified

Since you are using lavender bouquets and I see you’re getting married in the summer, I think light gray would be beautiful on your bridesmaids.

1-You could let them pick their colour but have the dress style the same
2- shades of grey but again same dress style
3- if you go with Black dress I could have the in a statement necklace with colour that matches your wedding colours.

If you go with black dresses, you could have each of your bridesmaids wear bright colored shoes (each bridesmaid wears a different color) and then have their bouquets match the color of their shoes. I saw a picture of this somewhere but I can’t find it.

Just be warned, give them a timeline. I am married in less than 3 months and NONE of them have a dress picked yet.

I wish I could find a pic, but my friend got married and had 7 bridesmaids and loves all the warm colors(yellow, orange, pink, red, purple) so the bridesmaids wore the same exact dress but in
a yellow orange color
I wish I could post a pic but my scanner is broke. Just look at a pack of the Starbursts candy and yourll get the idea. And the bouquets were these colors, in daisies, with a few purple thrown in. I want to do this but with teal, blue, and purple colors
Those bridesmaids got to pick amongst themselves which color they wanted,
