Weddingbee boards

Hi all: So I did something a little crazy. I purchased a Martina Liana dress in Dec with my family which I love. Its clean, simple, looks great, has stunning Swarovski/diamante/pearl embelishment and HAS POCKETS! I ordered it in Duchesse silk. I love it. So elegant.

But I was perusing other wedding dresses and found on sale another special dress. It was such a steal I bought it. It is also another Martina Liana, but this time one that has been discontinued, pink and what I feel is another fun stunner. It essentially is two dresses in one. This one is silk and silk taffeta. It has never been used and is really fabulous. 

Now I need some help figuring out which is going to make more of a splash. We're getting married in Ojai, California in late June so it will be hot but our ceremony starts at 6pm so the entire wedding will be in the evening/night and outdoors (it cools off big time at night). 

Anyway, I was hoping I could get some help picking the dress. Please help!

both are beautiful but I voted for the ivory. To me, it seems more luxe and elegant and I love that it has pockets and the button detailing on the back is gorgeous!

Thanks guys, yes the ivory is the first dress. I like the idea of switching it up too. That could be fun! The pink is also currently 2 sizes bigger rather than 1 so depending on how it gets taken in, i think it will matter how it ends up falling on me. I will be getting it on Wed so I will have a better idea on what it looks like on. I could hate it but it was such a steal I couldn't say no.

Does wearing the three looks seem like an extravagance? Does it seem over the top? I am starting to like that idea but don't want to come off like Kim Kardashian.

MissNoodles: I agree. I sort of feel like the white one is a bit of a bore, although I plan to spruce it up with accessories and I also think it says more than the pics show in person. But that pink, and it is SOOOO original and I think it will photograph beautifully, especially as the sun is setting. I can't get my mind off that dress, I'm seriously mezmerized.

I am though worried about how it will look though once it is taken in. It is a 10 and the other one was ordered is a 6. I'm going to have to take in quite a bit of fabric and I worry it wont lay right...but I am going to find the best seamstress around and try and make sure the layers don't get screwed up. I'm nervous about that. I guess I shouldn't be if I take it to an excellent seamstress. Uff tough decision. 

They are very different looks! I like the pinky fluffy one... Way more fun if that is what you are going for.  The ivory one is beautiful too of you are going for a more elegant look!
