    Hi Bees,

I am trying to decide on my formal place settings. I have settled on the Vera Wang Lace China, but i am debating between three flatware patterns. Which do you think works better with the china?

Have you looked at the VW Wedgewood flatware that goes with the china?  That is what I have and I LOVE it.

I'd go for the Chateau. It complements the china nicely--it's elegant, but not too plain/modern, and not too scrolly/floral either.

Oneida's a great company. I grew up using my parent's Dover flatware, so to me, it's the perfect cutlery.

Honestly Dover and Chateau are pretty similar. Either one would work great. I'm not a fan of the Juliard, just because the "cuff" at the neck of the spoons and forks bothers me, and I think it would be uncomfortable to eat with. But that's probably just my imagination.

Dover or Juliard are 18/10 which is the recommended quality level so I'd suggest one of those two.

My grandmother has Dover (has had it for 3+ decades) and it looks fabulous still to this day.
