I would be nervous playing around with my hair that much on the day after a stylist has set it in a certain style. Usually they use tons of hairspray, a million pins, and it is a nightmare to get it undone. Unless you have your stylist on hand to make the transition, if it was me, I wouldn’t mess with my hair after its been styled.

@star_dust:  <—-what she said.

I would be worried that it would have hairspray/ pin creases and what not. Maybe find an “in-between” look that you like, if you’re open to it?

I think hairstyle #1 – the updo would look amazing with your dress! Now going from that updo to style #2 is no easy task! You would need at least 20mins with your stylist to transition to style #2.

It’s doable! I love both hairstyles, but see why people are nervous about you going with both.  One of my BM did that for her wedding, and it took 1 hour for her to be ready to enter the reception!

Yea, it was crazy trying to get all the pins out of my hair on the wedding night. I missed some and found them the next day, lol.

You might ask your stylist if they have any styles that would easily trasnform, but if you want it to be perfect in the updo it might be hard.

My hair girl uses thread for an updo. She did for her cousin’s wedding and did 3 BM and the bride’s hair. It looked great! So you can change styles if you want. No headache and easy to take out. Maybe ask for that?
