    Hi Bees,

I need your help.  I think I have narrowed my wedding dress selection to three dresses and I need your help selecting The One.

Dress 1 - Enzoani lace gown - I think I would go with a belt with more "bling" if I chose this one.  Excuse the picture...had to sneak it from the dressing room of the salon.

Help Me Pick my wedding dress!! : wedding WeddingBee1

Dress 2 - As you can see it wasn't my size..but I think has a good mix of lace and sparkle.  Just worried about the sweetheart neckline.

Help Me Pick my wedding dress!! : wedding WeddingBee2

Dress 3 - So I was surprised that I liked this dress...much more dress than I thought I wanted but when I tried it on I really liked it.  Keep in mind, that it is several sizes too small.

Welcome to the Hive!  WOW, you look amazing in all three.  I am usually not a fan of #2, but I love it on you with all the right curves for it.  I am not sure which I love more.  Let me think about it for a few minutes and I will come back and post.  It is just so hard.

WOW You look stunning in all of these dresses!  Your body is made to wear wedding dresses!!! I do think that #2 is the best, it is so incredibly flattering and just stunning!

    Thanks ladies!!

I am really having a tough time deciding.  I really love all three!!  I feel like number one is classic and the most timeless of the three.  I also think I could jazz it up with a really cool birdcage veil.  #2 is a bit more sexy and actually one of the first dresses that I tried on.   Both my mom and future mother-in-law love this dress and when I first tried it on I really thought it was it, but now I am not so sure.  #3 is the only dress of this kind that I tried on.  I don't consider myself a "ruffles" girl.  But I really liked this one on me  I am just worried it is a bit too much and not as classic as the others...

Thanks for your help with this one!!

This is tough! You look amazing in all three dresses! I think my personal preference is #1, but really, you cannot go wrong with any of them. You are stunning!

I personally don't like the bottom on number 3. When I see dresses with those fluffy, feathery bottoms, I think it's trendy now- but something that girls will look back at in 10 years and regret. Number 2 is very flattering on you, but number 1 is my favorite.

I loved the first one. You look lovely in all 3 dresses, but the style / lace / fit was what won it for me :)

Ok, I decided.  I like #1 the best, but I would like it just slightly more if you were to add a sweetheart neckline and without the shrug.  I think that it is the most classic and timeless.  I think it would really add to that dress with a mantilla cathedral veil, wow, that would really put that dress over the top and give it that real WOW factor.

I vote #1. I think the "bling" it has is perfect, as it doesn't overpower the dress. I totally agree w/you, as well - that it's timeless & would go GREAT w/a birdcage veil. It just has that vintage look that will always be in style, as far as I'm concerned.

#2 was actually my least favorite of the three, but I agree w/PPs that they all look great on you! :-)

@tksjewelry:  Thanks for thinking it over and giving your thoughts.  I will have to look up that veil.  I'm actually from Omaha.  I wanted to have my wedding there...but  my fiance (a New Yorker) wasn't sold on the idea. I still think the Joslyn would have been a great venue!!

@Blissful Bride:  WHA!?  Your a Huskeer!  How awesome is that!?  There was just another new yorker transplant that got married back here, the same day I did.  She got married at the Durham.  I would have loved either!  There are just so many pretty places here.  Where did you go to school?  If you don't mind me asking.

@Blissful Bride:  There is a lincoln lady that makes beautiful veils and quite a few bees have used her, here is her web site.  She has also made alot of my friends veils and her work is beautiful and her prices are super reasonable.

@tksjewelry:    Yes...a fellow Husker.  I graduated from Central but left Omaha for college and grad school.  I actually haven't lived there since high school, but make it back often to see family.  Thanks for the tips...and the website.  I will check her out.

#3 but it depends on what the style you're going for is and what is the venue. They are all completely different dresses. I think #3 is the best fit on you.

If you made number one a sweetheart neckline, then it would be perfect! I love the look of it on you, it looks really amazing on you. If you don't want to do that, then I would go for number two. The third one, although gorgeous, doesn't give you justice. =]

If you turn #1 into a sweetheart, that would be my pick! Otherwise #2.

the second one doesnt work well with your figure, if i had to choose id go with option 3, it looks great on you, giving you that hourglass figure, love ruffles so im a bit bias.

#1 would look incredible with a sweetheart neckline. That's my pick. It makes your waits look insanely tiny! Plus, it's beautiful, classic and timeless.

    I don't find #2 that flattering, personally. :\

I love #2 and #3 on you. I think they both are figure flattering so I would go with whichever makes you feel the best.

    Good luck deciding!! :)

Dress two is by FAR the most figure flattering and a good mixture of both 1 and 3. My vote is for dress #2!

No fair!...You look way too beautiful in all three.  I am a firm believe in picking a dress that isn't to trendy at just the moment.  I personally tend to drift toward more classic designs that are always timeless.  This is because I myself don't want to look back on my wedding pics and think "wow...I can't believe that is what was in back then."  Or to have my kids one day laugh at the stuff that was popular when I was getting married.  You look beautiful in #3 but I think it may be one of those fashions that we will look back on and say "why?" I chose #2.

I think that #3 flatters your figure the best! It shoes off all your curves and makes your waist look tiny! Which one is talking to you more than the others though ? You look beautiful in all three of them :-)

I love #1 on you!  Though, you were spot on with picking gowns that looked great on you.  It took me for ages.  Something about #1....maybe for more sparkly, choose a different sash with some pizazz!  All of them are great.  #2 and 3 are pretty too, but the criss cross looks a bit bandagy.

#3 is a knockot.  It gives you a super small waist and a great figure. The other two do not blow me away.

@Blissful Bride:  I think what you said in your earlier response about not being a ruffles girl should speak to you. The idea of the way you should look on your wedding day is to just be a version of you, only dolled up a bit more. If you normally wouldn't wear something frilly like that, I wouldn't wear it on your wedding day. You might feel later on that it wasn't true to who you are. ALL of them look amazing on you though! However, the first two are very similar in shape so maybe that's what you are leaning towards? I personally think #2 is the most flattering on you!

    @MrsB2012:

Thanks so much.  Yes...I think you are right.  I think it is going to be between 1 and 2.  While I loved the corset of #3.  I have a more simple taste and I think #3 is a bit too much.  Thanks for your comments.

I'm really surprised that #2 is winning the poll. I don't think it's nearly as flattering as the other two! It was the first one I eliminated.

#1 is classy and very pretty and flatters your figure.

#3 is more sexy and less traditional but still pretty.

I'd vote for #1 first, then #3, and #2 last of the group.

@Blissful Bride:  If you like a corset, you can easily have whatever dress you choose made into a corset! Just a suggestion! Laughing
