I personally prefer a clear stone. If I had a ring with a color, I’d worry about it matching what I wear.

Las a second choice, I’d go with the emerald because I LOVE them!!

@rmrsln2010:  I LOVE LOVE LOVE emeralds. I would go with a diamond centre-stone (so its still relatively traditional) but with 2 emerald side stones. Beautiful

@rmrsln2010:  I’m a sapphire e-ring girl myself (although mine is purple) so I love the sapphire! My second choice would be the emerald–it’s gorgeous!

I wouldn’t worry about a colored stone not being traditional, as sapphires are actually very traditional for e-rings. Plus, the pop of color is lovely 🙂

If you would prefer a diamond, I actually like the solitaire with the profile you’ve chosen for your ring (which is gorgeous, btw!)

@rmrsln2010:  does it have diamond side stones down the band? from the profile it looks like it might. I actually think a ring like that (with so much detail on the band) would be gorgeous with just a solitaire of a sapphire or emerald, especially if there are already side stones!

@rmrsln2010:  gorgeous! if you keep the setting with the halo, it would be stunning with a sapphire or emerald. Whatever you decide, it sounds like your ring will be beautiful!
