I’m having a bit a trouble figuring out what to do for my bridesmaids’ dresses and I need your help! I have 5 bridesmaids and want to do the miss-matched look in cool shades. My dress is English netting in a point d’esprit pattern (almost looks like Swiss dot). I am going to remove the flowers on the skirt and add a patterned sash like the second picture.
My problem is picking a fabric for the bridesmaids dresses to narrow down my search. I’m not sure exactly how to coordinate the miss-matched looked. I want my ladies to be in different styles and different cool shades but I think the fabric should be similar to keep a cohesive look.
What fabric do you think “goes” the best with my dress?

So I looked into bridesmaid dresses and I found some options I like. What do you think goes best with my dress and which option do you like the most? Any opions/suggestions welcome.
Option 1: Order dresses from Amanda Archer is whatever style in green, blue or purple. The dresses are cotton.
Option 2: Have them choose whatever dress they like from these I found on Mod Cloth (or if they find something similar). The dresses are various fabrics. Mostly polyester with a sheer layer.
Option 3: Go with the same dress for everyone. I like this dress a lot. Fabric is chiffon.
Option 4: Pick several bridemaid dresses in chiffon and let them choose style/color. Like these:
What do you think?

I would stay away from satin and tafetta with such soft fabric in your dress.
Chiffon or cotton would probably be best.
I like the third dress you posted as well, and considering your dress with sash I think it would be a fun option. Tops matching and skirts in different shades.

@kala_way: Thanks! I agree. I’m a bit concerned because the white in that dress is called “candlelight” and my dress is ivory.
Any other opinions?

I really love option 3. That dress would be great in any wardrobe!

Because of the fabric of your dress I voted for chiffon, I dont think your BMs should wear anything glossy like satin or taffeta since your dress is matte
