Maybe you could write a phrase or draw some design in the blank ones to make it look fuller?

sp3cia1j:  I actually think its perfect. Having some leaves blank looks OK because they’re spread out. The tree makes me think of nature which is full of inconsistency, which is exactly what makes it perfect. 🙂

After seeing the above suggestion, I agree with a design, but only if its simple and natural. Maybe light veins on the leaves or something.

I think it looks great as is. I think if you were to fill out every leaf it would be way too busy looking.

I agree with the other PP. I like the tree as is. Its easier to read the names and more filled in leaves will make it look busier. If you want to fill them in though, the PP who mentioned sayings and such had a good idea.

It looks great! I like the blanks but if you wanted you could drawn on them, little hearts or just write both your initials. If anyone missed signing it completely is there opportunity to get them to do so now, after the wedding? Or you could write their names on for them- I know its not the same but it will be nice to see their names on it.

I have something just like that! We have almost half of the leaves unsigned because people signed as a family, didn’t sign etc. I love it though! It definitely does not look bad without all the leaves signed, I think it looks even better than having a ton of writing all over and you can’t even see the leaves. I’d leave them blank!

I think it looks fine. I never accurred to me that you had no shows. Most couples sign their names together so that’s probably why not everyone signed. Did you have a sign with instructions for each guest to sign their own leaf?

sp3cia1j:  Just draw in lines to make them look like real leaves – one line down the middle, and diagonal lines branching off from it. Anything else might look too fussy.

sp3cia1j:  Could you find a way to color in the empty leaves? Either in your wedding colors or any color you may like? Or maybe keep it unframed that way when you have guests visit or come over that DIDN’T sign it, you could make them sign it then? (It’s a little weird, but hey, gets a name on a leaf.) I think it looks fine. They’re evenly spread out and the print itself is gorgeous, so you don’t immediately look at or register that there are names on the leaves.
