Help please, I know tons of you bees have great style, I've seen many of your epics!
Hmmm. Well, first I would say for the fit of your pants: Buy them to fit the largest part of you and the rest can be altered to fit. They give this advice on What Not to Wear! I have that bulk in the back problem and apparently that's a pretty easy fix at a tailor :)
I really like cotton tops with bold prints for summer. I don't know if that is fashionable or not, but they are comfortable and fun! I usually pair them with capris, since I hate wearing shorts.
How about getting a few cute sundresses? It's so easy to throw one on and look great!
Oh, I'm also a huge fan of short sleeve cardigans! Sometimes I wear them over a pretty shirt, sometimes just over a cami!
1. Always buy your garment to fit the widest part of you. If that is your hips or thighs, you can always have the waist taken in so you get a good fit everywhere.
2. Buy straight legged pants- you will look taller than in boot cut or pants that are too wide or too narrow at the ankle.
3. Buy classics if you have a small clothing budget. They wll last forever. A well fitting pair ofdark wash jeans, a white blouse, a white or balck cardigan will stay in style forever.
4. Add current touches with accesories. This spring florals are big- buy a scarf or an inexpensive blouse.
5. Only buy things you love. Do not let anyone tallk you into buying something you are "so-so" about.

I need a whole new wardrobe, sadly I don't have the fundage to make that happen. I usually wear jeans, sweater & sneakers/flip flops to work. I want to look trendier (is that a word? Looks weird) but I am 5'3" and curvy. It's hard to find pants that fit length, my thighs etc. They always bulk out in the back. Also tops...what is in style this spring/summer? I don't have a million dollars to spend so I'd like to just get a few cute tops to wear to work that are casual (my office is casual, hello I wear jeans daily). Can you bees help me? I have a few stores around me I'm checking out tomorrow: Macys (does NOT have what they have online, it's very small but it's there), AE, The Bon Ton, Target, Kohls, TJ Maxx, Gap and many others. Can someone give me advice on what to buy please, tops & pants! Otherwise I know me and I'll just buy more of the same crap I already have. Help Soon2bee bee trendier!
