Hello! I’ve always LOVED lace veils and had thought I’d end up with a vintage inspired dress. This Martina Liana 380 is super contemporary…Any ideas on how to merge vintage and modern with the styling? Any ideas on how to spice things up? THANKS!

So many gorgeous options, it all depends what look you’re going for.
A little lace jacket would be very pretty
Or you could go for something more dramatic
A sash is another good option
Lace gloves could look very cool
Or a pretty headpiece
It depends on what you mean by vintage as well – are you looking for pretty feminine lacy toe vintage or 50s bombshell for example. Either one could work.

@meggs66: Beautiful dress and you look fantastic. I think you can merge the two looks with your accessories. Why not try a mantilla veil? Or a chapel/cathedral veil with lace only along the back (so that it adds some detail to the train)?
If not a lace veil, what about a beaded/embroidered one to evoke a vintage feel?
I’ve also recently fallen for blushers. So, you might like those (and you can play with textural details):
Or you can go for an art deco look and try a cool beaded/lace Juliet cap:

Love the first lace bolero and the hair piece. If you wanna sash I think a thinner one with beading like the hairpiece would be amazing 🙂

Something along the lines of that first lace bolero would be gorgeous, and then you could remove it for the reception. I also love lace-trim or lace applique veils with satin gowns, like the one below. Or you could do very old Hollywood waves and a jewelled headpiece.
Also, go super vintage with your makeup – red lipstick, liquid liner.
