I'm in Clemson, which boutique did you go to? Is it a certain one in a tiny small town past Issaqueena on the way to Anderson, out of curiosity? (I didn't get a dress there, but if my sis orders a BM dress I want it to be somewhere honest!)

Wow, that dress looks so great on you! The model on the Mori Lee website doesnt do that dress any justice compared to you. Congrats on finding it, I am still amazed at what some of the bees can do!

So according to a book I like to refer to as the bride's bible..."Bridal Bargains" it is illegal for shops to rip out designer/manufacturer labels and substitute their own. Well, there IS one loophole - if they put care instructions, country of origin, and fabric, etc. Why do shops do this? To prevent price comparison. I ran across my first bridal scam the other day. While shopping at a huge bridal boutique in my area I noticed that this shop was doing this. They banned use of any cameras also - why? to prevent you from being able to custom make your own gown. The salesperson brought over a gown that was my size and it fit beautifully. I KNEW I had seen this gown on a website, but having looked at 38723487238476 wedding dresses in the past month, there's just NO telling where I saw it!! The salesperson refused to tell me who makes it (they will claim they don't know, their garments will have their own store codes on them for ordering) and I am DYING to find this dress again!! If anyone out there has seen it, or knows what the brand is I would appreciate you forever. I have attached pics of me in the dress....I was able to snap a few while the salesperson was waiting on someone else...but this was before I saw the "no pictures" signs....woops.
