Okay, so we bought the couple a luggage set, and I wanted to order luggage tags to match. I can’t decide which style to use, so I figured I would ask the Hive which set they liked best (the luggage is all black):
Option 1: Simple White
Option 2: Funny set
Option 3: Casual and cute
Option 4: Simple, yet sophisticated
Also, I’d like your opinion on what else we could add. This is a theme gift that I planned to follow a “Honeymoon” theme. I thought about beach towels, and maybe a guide book for the beach they’re visiting? Any other ideas??

I like the colored ones (#4 the most) just because they make it easier to find your bags in the collection area (unless you got them colorful/patterned luggage or something..). I always tie a bright string to my suitcase so I can pick it out right away. Plus I think they are more fun and honeymoon-esque. But #2 is really funny, so I like that too

@MrsEdamame: I voted #4, but #2 is good too. I think you should go with the Mr. and Mrs. over bride and groom – that way they can actually use the tags again.
As far as other stuff goes, you cound include a beach bag, books (or gift card to Barnes and Noble), sunscreen, flip flops, snorkle gear, water bottles, blanket, or lingerie. Depending on where they are going and how they are, beach towels might not be a good idea. If the resort or hotel provides them, the couple will probably opt to leave the towels at home since they tend to be bulky and take up a lot of precious space.

That is a great point. We each took one on our honeymoon, but typically resorts do provide them.

@MrsEdamame: Yeah. I got one of my BMs a honeymoon bag (since she was getting married 2 months later) and was going to include towels. But when I talked to our travel agent, he suggested I skip the towels for those reasons and go with snorkel gear.

This is kind of against the self promotion policy… but here’s a huge list of honeymoon gift basket ideas on my blog. (Delete if necessary)
I vote #4 and suggest a quick double-checking that your friend will be using the title “Mrs.” after the wedding, as not everyone does, though it is the most common.
