I like Mason as a middle name.  Liam Mason Waters or Finley Mason Waters both sound nice.

I really like Mason Liam. It’s a really adorable name. ๐Ÿ™‚

I like Liam the best, perhaps Liam Mason Waters, or make your husband happy and do Liam Thorson (or Ragnar) Waters.  I know a lot of people like the name Mason, but I personally think of a jar anytime I hear that name.

@Aicyla22:  I like that idea…Liam Thorson Waters is an awesome name, too!

I’d let your Darling Husband use one of his picks for the middle name. I like Finn, I know quite a few Masons and Liams.

I like Liam Finley Waters, sounds like a classic rock singer.

@LGenz:  I agree– there seem to be a lot of Masons and Liams running around these days, but Finn is still interesting without being too “weird”. But I actually love all 3 of those names, so the one that isn’t as popular put Finn just slightly over the other two for me.

I agree with the PP who said to let your SO have Thor as a middle name if it means a lot to him.

Yeah, I’m not voting on this one. I love all the options. Mason Liam might be my favorite, but I’ve always liked Finn, as well.

Good luck! Sorry I’m not much help ๐Ÿ™‚

I know 2 Finley’s, both girls. 1 Mason- girl and one Liam, obviously boy ๐Ÿ™‚ There do seem to be a lot of Liams lately though. I really do like the name Finley or just Finn maybe. I hear Finley and I automatically think of girls though. I’m sure it’s because I know 2 personally. I think Finn is Super cute! It was actually on our list of names for boys but I couldn’t do because of the girls I know. We like unusual names and went w/ Keane (sounds like Keen)

I normally like the name Mason but not with the last name Waters.  I pretty much like all the names PPs have suggested above just not Mason as a first name.

I think Mason is the best out of the options.  It sounds the most male to me, out of those names.  I like it, with the last name too.

I grew up with a Thor and it’s actually an awesome name — his parents are Norwegian and he’s born/bred in the US so it’s neat that his name is a clue to his heritage but it’s not overpowering or kitschy.  I don’t think he ever got made fun of over his name.

TBH, I’d prefer Thor (Thorson) over the other names you’ve listed…they’re all pretty trendy.  Liam and Finley are super Irish which might be weird if your SO is Norwegian.
