@WaitingDogMama:  try looking at the Nordstrom wedding suite. Prices are similar to ones I saw at traditional bridal stores but they have some major bonuses. 1. Free shipping and returns, so no need to do alterations unless you really want to 2. Regular dress sizes so they are easy to select and don’t give weight sensitive people conniptions when a size 8 is an 18 in ‘bridal’ 3. Quite a bit of selection 4. If you have out of town BMs it is easy for them to order 5. They come in a week, not 6 months like bridal stores.

Have you looked at J. Crew or Watters/Wtoo? Wtoo has a peach and coral color you may like in chiffon. I don’t think the online site gives a good idea of the real color so you may want to see if anywhere near you carries them. Allure’s Buttercup and Toffee might work as well.

What about Bill Levkoff dresses?  There are a ton of color choices.  Many of the dresses are chiffon as well.

@WaitingDogMama:  I’m glad you found something. I was reading your post and was going  to suggest that you also look for apricot dresses. Often it is closer to what most of us think of as peach.

@WaitingDogMama:  This dress is beautiful! I feel like the color and the shape will blend with lots of different skin colors and body types.

@WaitingDogMama:  Glad you found something that works!  I had very specific shades in mind for my wedding.  The best piece of advice I got from my florist was to go to Lowes or Home Depot and find paint chips that match my shades and take a few.  This way when vendors ask you can give them the paint chips.  I always had a set in my purse and a set in my wedding box for my own reference as well.  I felt like an iditiot standing in Lowes trying to match DH’s tie and the BM’s dresses to paint chips but it was seriously the best thing ever!
