That dress is stunning! I would leave it as it is to show it off!

Are you planning to wear the veil for both your ceremony and reception.  I would go with a cathedral length veil with a raw or pencil edge.  If you’re taking the veil off after the ceremony, then everyone would still get to see the beautiful lace on the back! (And honestly, people will still be able to see the lace through the veil even when it’s on.)

That dress is stunning….love, love the back!  Who makes this dress, if I may ask?

I think a cathedral length, simple veil (maybe with some very delicate beading trim or just a raw edge) would be stunning.

@Lkturtle:  What type of church? What is your reception location like? I like in the wine country (of California) so I’m curious. 🙂

I would also recommend a simple cathedral veil depending on the church and opt for just a flower or something similar during the reception.

@Lkturtle:  Lovely venue! It will be a beautiful wedding. I definitely think a simple cathedral veil would work there.

For the reception what about a flower or hair piece? I wore something like this for our reception because there was no way I could keep my long veil on all evening.

I agree with a simple cathedral veil.  You’ll have plenty of time to show off the beautiful back and lace detail during the reception.  I think a long veil would be stunning especially if you’re going for a classic/traditional wedding, it would totally complete the look.  And, when will you ever have the chance to wear a veil again? I opted for a cathedral mantilla veil but my dress doesn’t have nearly as much lace detail as yours so I think the mantilla would be too much.

I’d do a totally plain raw edge floor length veil with that. Don’t hide the pretty back!

I would do a very simple fingertip or chapel length veil.

My dress also had a lot of lace and detail ont eh back and I you could still see the detail through the veil… plus u have the whole reception for people to stare at you.

I think anything fingertip would distract from that beautiful back on the dress.  A long, raw edge, sheer tulle veil (chapel or cathedral) would look great.
