Eight weeks, not week, eh. Maybe were instead of are for that line as well. Would hate for you to have it go to print without someone pointing it out to you.
I like it! The lighter pages for the guests to write on - if you don't want to put some ruled lines on there for people, were you thinking of writing a message of some kind for them to know? Or have your bridal party get the signing started?
ok fixed the wording and added "OUR GUESTS" to the pages they can sign :)
I like it! I think "Our Guests" looks better without the " : ". What did you set the opacity to for the pages you want our guests to write on? I just my book & the opacity was 20% but I wish it was a bit lighter.
mines at 30 right now....but i wonder what it would be at 20.or if i changed the color o black and white instead...and yea imma take out the symbol but my laptop isnt picking up the wifi in the dorms and it took 10 minutes jut to load the 2nd page o my phone.....
Mmmmmm a few things don't look right to me. I disagree with 'Our Guests:' I think 'Your message to the bride and groom' would be clearer and better. Also I don't like the fact that the same picture has been used on both the cover and the first page, yes one is zoomed and one isn't but its still the same pic.
I also dont like pages 9 and 10, the pic on the left hand side at the top needs to be at the bottom of the page next two the other pic with Goofy, you need to stay consistant with your design. Pages 23 and 24 are the worst, on page 24 you have a small pic covering the other one, it looks weird, make the faded pic on the side smaller and place it next to the other one so the pics are the same size if you really want to include both.
Apart from that not a bad job. Just make sure evreything lines up throughout the entire book. Not sure how many guests you are having but you need to make sure everyone has enough room to write as many people won't write over the dark pics just the faded ones.
I'm a graphic designer, so I've had experience with designing covers and so on and so forth. Anywho, I love this idea! I don't know why I never thought of it! I'm totally doing it now. I like what you've got going so far.
I agree with bridetobe7844 about using "your message to the bride and groom"! Has so much more feeling to it!
I would also suggest a simpler design for the inside. It would make it cleaner and you won't have to worry about opacity! I would do a collage on the left page of your images with a border around each one. some can even be abstract/zoomed in off another photo to bring more attention to just one or two. I would then leave the right page just one solid color, or reflecting the left, but instead of photos different colors, but keep them pastel. I'd pulled colors from your photos to pull the whole thing together!

I love it ! But I do have to agree with bridetobe7844 about the wording....( this is my own opinion though - if you love your book then dont change a thing! ) - I am doing one for our wedding and instead of putting "our guests" on the pages, I will be putting something similar to "your message to the bride and groom" - it will make it more personal and people will be more likely to write in it and leave a little message ;)
I personally don't mind "our guests" but if you would like them to write more than their names maybe "Special wishes for the newlyweds..."
I think it looks awesome!
Just a note; I have an adoramapix album, and the texture is a type that I don't think could be written on with regular or gel pens (like writing on an actual photo) so make sure you buy/test out some options before the big day.
yea i have wondering what i should but i think ill just make a sign to put next to the book that says something about special wishes or advice for the newlyweds
so do u think a permapen would work? or a regualer ballpoint pen....
@SABRISIL91: definitely not a regular ball point pen. A permanent sharpie, or one of those metallic ones perhaps!
I would recommend going and getting a regular photo printed "matte" at Walmart or something and see what scribbles on there the best.
and thanks for the advice ladies the wedding isnt till april so i have alot of time to change things... ive never done this before so please dont try to bite my head off :) lol... im still making some changes cuz i bet if u looked at it last night and today it looks different... :)
I think the pages look great, but I think the words and lines on the front cover is a bit bright and distracting. Maybe try making the cover a full picture without wording? Or a full picture and use the black on your fiances shirt to place the wording a little smaller and toward the corner?
bridetobe7844: thanks for ur input :) the purpose of both those pictures on 23-24 was that they were taken in the same spot. one the day before i went to BMT and the larger one was our mini "honeymoon" that was taken almost a year later after the smaller one, kinda of like a then and now page...

If your worried about the guests not knowing where to write perhaps include a little message at the beginning... this is what we have on the first page of ours...
"Thankyou for attending our wedding.
We'd love you to sign our guestbook with words of love & advice for our marriage.
Please write in the blank spaces provided.
Love from the new Mr & Mrs "....."
im actually going to just make a sign that says that and just letting them write where ever thefffres room... cuz im realy not liking how the wordin comes out on the pages...the ceremony and dinner are supposedto only have about 150 guests but the reception 300 r coming like r friends and family members that we would love to have there to celebrate the big day but cant afford to feed lol so hopefully theres going to be enought room for everyone to write... but i know ppl will get creative

ok so i just finished :) tell me what u think and if i should change anything... fyi the pictures that cover both pages own is extremely lighter than the other so guest will know they can write on it :)
