I'd avoid the feathers cos I'm not sure they would go well together. I'd go for a comb like this: - whoops! BIIIIG photo! 
Yeah, I do think that you have to be a little careful with feathers if your dress has sparkle and beading because it can get verrry close to Vegas! But there are ways to do it--just keep them to a minimum. You could also decide to go all out Vegas and get a feathered headpiece for the reception. You can also attach them to the bouquet or get ostrich/peacock feather shoe clips for the most subtle touch. As far as veils go, I'd go with something simple and classic--if you want to wear a veil. And while I'm having some difficulty picturing a birdcage veil, you could try a blusher veil maybe...
I do like the idea of the sparkly hairpiece--especially because you can pin it in the back to add a little sparkle where you might not have it as much...
your dress is lovely and i think feathers would take from your dress ,everyones eye will be cought by the feathers not by the dress, i think the comb is nice you bought , are u wearing yor hair up? if so the comb will look lovely , there is nicer ones but u bought that one so make it work
Im having my hair half up and down. Maybe put it in a low up for reception. I was looking at the crystal ribbon headpiece headbands...

So here is my dress ...
I wanted feathers but i dont think it will go... i also wanted a birdcage veil... i dont think that will look right with my dress since its so beaded.
Can anyone suggest a veil... headpiece... headband.,, etc
And can anyone suggest jewelry for me?
