I really like the look of the extra stones but I think I like the way you have attached them more than I like the idea of the 3 prongs. I think it’s cool that they echo the centre oval.

I think your ring is lovely as it is.  But if you do want to bling it up, I think your initial idea of a pave band would look the best tbh.

sominted:  I think your ring is perfect as is! but I have a simple style so I already find your ring super blingy and finger coveragey! (I’m not a fan of pave bands or channel set bands, I’m a plain shank girl who wants a plain platinum band to match my art deco ring) but, get what YOU love!!

sominted:  I think the ring as it is now already gives you great finger coverage. It’s gorgeous! Agree with PP that if you want some more bling then adding the pave band would be nice, or small prong set diamonds on the band that are the same size as the diamonds in your halo.

Don’t mess with perfection, the ring is jaw-dropping as it is.

sominted:  I do think they would be pretty! It would just be a lot for me, I have tiny hands and I need to wear nitile gloves a lot so they would make the ring more likely to snag.

Wow I’m torn because I like your ring both ways. The setting now is so classic and timeless but the 3mm stones really add a pop to the whole package. Either way you can’t go wrong. But really, you have a beautiful setting now.

sominted:  the centre is about half a carat, it’s 4.7mm according to the paper work, and the diamonds are .26ct total weight, I think they are 3.2mm. I’m a size 4.25-4.5, not sure in US sizes exactly
