I bought a chapel length veil with a thin edge, think it’s called a pencil edge but i’m not sure. However I now think I want a raw edge – could I just cut off the pencil edge to make it a raw edge or would I mess up the veil??? I am so tempted to just do it and hope for the best lol but thought i’d get some opinions first…

What is it… tulle? Should be fine. I trimmed mine and because it’s basically netting, it doesn’t require hemming, and doesn’t fray.

Yes its ‘bridal illusion tulle’, not sure what that means lol – it looks like normal veil material to me

Go for it. Just trim a little at a time, you can always cut more but not less!

Yeah, you should be fine. Just cut slowly so that you keep the edge straight.
Another option would be to resell the edged veil – but if you like the length, etc., seems like trimming the edge is the easiest and cheapest option.
