That looks exactly like meringue..so maybe try googling "meringue wedding cake" :)
That's not meringue. That's the basic icing technique that bakers are shown how to use in any Betty Crocker cookbook for regular buttercream icing.
I've seen pictures online of wedding cakes with that design but they are hard to find. Here are a few that I was able to locate:

The frosting I'm looking for is a type of meringue... I think they call it Italian Meringue. There's also one called 7 minute frosting. I want one that is very similar to meringue (but obvi we will have to tase them to see which go with the cake) and when they put it on and it makes loose, flowy peaks... not the not-quite-smooth buttercream look. I'm sure I'll find it. Thanks girls.

@Laylabelle - that cake is awesome!!! Toasted marshmallow = smores!
I LOVE that meringue cake. I have it saved in my cake folder on my computer but have yet to figure out how I could pull it off.

I'm lucky to have an amazing aunt who can bake wonderful things and will be doing my wedding cake!!!1 I'm trying to find a picture of a wedding cake with frosting like the cakes below... if you can help, I would be grateful :)
