Jenny Lee. I *almost* picked the Mikaella, it was my runner up! But if I'd seen the Jenny Lee before I probably would've gone with that, its a lot more dramatic IMO. Either way, you can't go wrong. They both look gorgeous on you!
I love both but voted for Jenny Lee. If Mikaella the in budget one it could easily become the favorite, just add a sash and alter the neckline a bit and it would be my fave!
i think the order of the pictures/poll might be confusing people?
Jenny Lee is the first picture, but Mikaella is the first poll option...?
someone already commented to that effect, too (they thought the Mikaella was the one without the sash)... :( you might want to see if you can fix it?
@anotheroneofmany: Oops, yes I did vote wrong! Sorry, I know it said at the top but I forgot, just used to the first poll option being the first picture and so on.
I LOVE the Jenny Lee. I agree that the bottom of it is just stunning. They are both very beautiful and incredibly flattering on you!
I can't tell that much difference in them but they are both gorgeous. Pick the one that you love best that you can afford without going over budget.
@anotheroneofmany: So the top picture is Jenny Lee?
Okay, well I won't vote in your poll because I don't know which dress is which, but I like the top picture best on you :) Though they look really similar and I'd go with the one in your budget.
Also, if your pictures and poll are opposite your poll is probably really off so you might want to repost :)
I'm going to throw out a guess here and guess that the dress in the top pic is the expensive one. I'm judging by the look of the salons....am I right?
I like the top dress best as well.
i voted for dress #2 because i like the skirt more - to be honest they look very similar so neither is a bad choice, just one is a smarter economical choice :)
The top one (Jenny Lee) your waist looks so impossibly tiny! Love it.
I think the sweetheart on the second is just a tad too low/dramatic.
I'm kinda biased because my dress is a makeilla...they are so flattering and have a quality feel and look to them. I really like how they both look on you....they look very similar. I'm guessing the makailla one is the one within your budget only because I'm familiar with their price range...they aren't cheap but their not over the top expensive.
You can't go wrong with either.
I love the first one (Jenny Lee)...you can add a crystal belt (like the one in the second dress) and it would make the dress just perfect! the second one just looks so flat
@galloway111: she said in her description that the Jenny Lee was the one with the zebra rug... so yeah, the poll and pics are flipped... :(
I love the Mikaella on you! The Jenny Lee is beautiful and very dramatic, but it's a little overwhelming for my taste. I feel like in the Mikaella, I actually see and focus on you instead of the dress.
I think they both look great. And honestly they are so similar that I would go with the one in budget. I don't see a difference great enough that justifies going for the out of budget one.
Thanks for all your comments ladies! Ok i've taken the poll out since it was confusing for everyone! :)
Yes the top dress is Jenny Lee, which I got a quote on the price for $4800 CND the Mikaella is way in budget which they quotes 1400.
They both look beautiful on you so I don't think that you can make a bad choice, whichever way you go. My personal preference is for the Jenny Lee, I can't put my finger on why but I like it just a teensy bit better on you.
I say Mikaella. It has a nice balance between glam and subtle beauty. I also like the neckline a lot better on it. I find the bottom on the Jenny Lee to be too much, almost like a bed duvet piled on the floor... but that's just MY style preference, which I know isn't the same as everyone's.
@parasol: I totally agree with this comment.
The dress shouldn't overwhelm but instead compliment and help the bride shine, not compete with her.
Jenny Lee - the bust line is more flattering and doesn't look like you will fall out.
That's a difficult decision. I prefer the Jenny Lee dress, but they're both very similar. Also, that's a pretty big price jump. If you can afford the more expensive dress, I think it is slightly more flattering. If it is going to put you in a bad financial situation, then I think the second dress is also really pretty and looks great on you, so you should go for that one!
The 2nd picture! I'm not really into plain dresses, but if your style is classic I'd go with 1. :)
