I’ve never had issues with acne any where on my body, except on my face occassionally. I’m sure its from the stress of everything, but suddenly my back is breaking out terribly! I don’t know what to do and I’ve never had this problem, plus my dress is strapless with a back that cuts about mid way down!
Any suggestions! I’ll try anything!

Use neutrogena body wash, the body clear body wash. Have you been using different hair products? Sometimes, gels or sprays can clog your pores and cause acne. Before trying anything way out there though- talk to your doctor- they may be able to give you something. Good luck!

get a body brush or exfoliating body wash…or try that body clear body wash from neutrogena, i’m pretty sure that’s what it’s called. I’ve had the same problem, it sucks! You can also put the same acne spot treatments you would use on your face, on your back. I’ve also heard that sunlight helps clear up some stuff like that too, I don’t know how true it is, but could be worth a shot.
**EDIT also, make sure you’re drinking plenty of water! That’ll help clear your skin of any toxins that may be causing breakouts.

Try aveeno body wash with oatmeal or nuetregena body wash. Keep your skin dry and try not to cover it, so it gets to air out. If you sleep in something at night, you may be sweating in your sleep; that can contribute to that. Keep your sheets and pj’s clean. Maybe change your sheets and pj’s everyday for awhile. And when you get out of the shower or bath, just pat yourself dry; don’t rub. Also, use a moisturizer. Don’t try off before you put the moisturizer on.

Thanks, I had my FI look at it being that its on my back and I can’t see and he said it looks like very small pimples, which with me could be an allergic reaction to just about anything. I’m going to try that neutrogena scrub. I’ve been using a salt scrub to exfoliate for tanning.
Does anyone know if you can use like proactiv or a three step treatment on your back thats usually used on your face? I have both proactiv and a neutrogena three step but wasn’t sure if it’d over dry my skin.

I use Murad Clarifying Body Spray on my back and chest. I also use the Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash and make sure to rinse extra well after rinsing all my conditioner off so there is no residue left.

Considering your wedding is only a month away, I suggest going straight to a dermatologist, prferably one who specializes in cosmetic dermatology.

I would recommend going to a dermatologist as well since your wedding is so close. Even if you’re able to get rid of the little pimples now by using different body washes/scrubs, you might still have little scars that’ll take more than a month to fade. A professional who sees your skin problem will be able to determine what’s the best treatment method for it in a short amount of time. Good luck!

I don’t know if this helps, but I had a sudden pimple outbreak on my back a couple of years ago, and when it just wasn’t clearing up, my doctor determined that it was, in fact, a staph infection, most likely picked up at the gym. He gave me a medicated body wash and instructed me to wash all my clothes and sheets in hot water. It’s all gone now. Good luck!

1) Yes, Proactive has a body wash
2) how long have you been tanning? I used to break out on my back when I tanned (ages ago) – that could be the cause as well.
